Frequently Asked Questions
How does the caregiver matching process work?
Each caregiver has a detailed profile showcasing their skills, experience, and availability. When a client requests care, they can review these profiles and select the caregiver they feel is the best fit. Caregivers then have the option to accept or decline the request based on their availability and preferences, giving both clients and caregivers control over the match and schedule. This process helps ensure a comfortable, personalized care experience for everyone involved.
Can I choose my own schedule?
Yes! When a client sends a care request, you’ll receive all the details—date, time, and tasks—and you can decide whether to accept or decline based on what fits your schedule. This way, you control which clients you work with and when, giving you the flexibility to build a caregiving schedule that suits your life
Where will I be working?
With clients based on your location and availability, so you can work close to home within your community. Assignments may vary in length and frequency, giving you the chance to build meaningful relationships with those you support.
Do I need experience to apply?
No prior experience is necessary! We welcome individuals new to caregiving and offer paid training programs to get you certified and confident. Our training covers everything you need to know to succeed as a PSS or DSP, and we provide ongoing support as you grow in your role.
What qualifications do I need to work as a caregiver?
You must have a valid driver’s license and reliable auto insurance, as many assignments involve travel to clients’ homes. Additionally, all caregivers are required to pass necessary background checks to ensure the safety and well-being of the people we serve. These qualifications help us maintain a trusted and professional care team.
